River Edge Inn - Colonial Beach

The room was clean and had a great atmosphere, but the ice machine was broken.

I spent two nights at River Edge Inn and enjoyed my stay. The view of the Potomac River delighted me, and the comfortable room. Breakfast featured fresh fruit and coffee that was pretty good, though the WiFi seemed a bit inconsistent. Still, I would happily return!

I loved this small hotel and stayed for 2 nights here. The most important was the staff - DECENT and amicable people. The room was good-sized and newly remodelled, it had a shower, a hairdryer, and bath sheets. Breakfast with more options. The venue was placed in the central location in walking distance from different events.

Its marvellous, central location was a plus. There were a lot of restaurants and bars to choose from.

The location was perfect, just a short walk to restaurants and bars. Breakfast was fantastic, with plenty of options like fruits, cereals, and amazing coffee. Definitely a hidden gem!

The relaxing pool area was a real treat for unwinding after exploring, and having barbecue facilities was a great bonus for a fun evening cookout. The only downside was that some areas felt a bit worn, but it didn't take away from our overall experience 😊

It was just a perfect match for a brief pause in Colonial Beach with definitely value for money. The kids loved the pool. It was clean and a good size for a small hotel. Make sure to grab pool towels from the hotel instead of bringing your own.

The staff were so kind and helpful.

I booked a King Studio, but when we checked in, we were given a Queen Room instead. The AC was off upon arrival, and it took forever to cool down the place. Not to mention the pool was filthy. We couldn't even see our feet and felt gross things wrapping around our ankles. It was disgusting and doesn't meet the standards we expected.

Great spot by the beach!

We stayed for 2 nights in a king studio and loved it! The location is super convenient, right by the beach, and the rooms are spacious with mini-fridges and microwaves. The staff were really friendly and helped with everything we needed. Just wished there was a better blanket, it was kinda cold at night. The picnic area was a nice touch!

The location is fantastic, super close to the beach and river. The pool could use some cleaning, not very inviting.

The beach was just a short walk away, and they loved playing in the sand. Breakfast was simple but enough to start our day right!

My kids wished the pool had been open. It would have.

Comfortable and spacious rooms at this place. Enjoyed the new furniture in the rooms 😊. The staff here were friendly and nice.
